Peggy J. Foreman-Holmes, 83, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:05 p.m.  Oct. 27, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehab Center, Warsaw.

She was born June 2, 1929, in Warsaw, to Noble and Faye Shoemaker Hedington. On Dec. 9, 1972, in Warsaw, she married Russell Holmes, who preceded her in death.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she worked at Humpty Dumpty for 20 years, co-operated the Lake Theater and Warsaw Drive-In and retired from Tom’s Donuts. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 49, Warsaw, serving as a chaplain and past president.

Surviving are her sons: Nick Foreman (and companion Ron Haas), Fort Wayne; Russell (and spouse Vicki) Foreman and Terry (and spouse Chris) Holmes, all of Warsaw; Tony (and spouse Robin) Foreman, Pierceton; Kenneth (and spouse Barb) Foreman, Tippecanoe; Rocky Holmes, Indianapolis; and John (and spouse Peggy) Holmes, Palestine; daughters: Jessie (and spouse Troy) Aker, Kissimmee, Fla.; Connie (and spouse Luke) Miller, Bourbon; Janie Holmes, Indianapolis; and Rosalee (and spouse Ernie) Riddle, Onaway, Mich.; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; a grandson; a brother; and a sister.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
