Nina and Douglas Willmann, Silver Lake, and John and Joy Pegg, Richmond, announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Pegg, Silver Lake, to Andrew Balke, Winona Lake. He is the son of Pat and Kathy Balke, Pierceton.

The bride-to-be is employed at Hacienda, Warsaw, while she completes a degree in elementary education. She is a 2000 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and attended Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, from 2000 to 2003. She plans to graduate in May with a degree in early and middle childhood education from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The groom-elect is employed at Hacienda, Warsaw. He was homeschooled in Pierceton and graduated in 2000. He earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Ball State University in 2005.
