Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle, Hospitalized

Janet S. Runyon, 61, Ligonier, was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at 105 W. Main St., Syracuse, at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Syracuse Police reported. The driver, Janet L. Borg, 50, East CR 1000N, Syracuse, was driving west on Main Street when Runyon walked into the path of her vehicle. Borg told police that she could not have avoided the accident. Runyon was transported to IU Health Goshen by Turkey Creek/Syracuse paramedics.[[In-content Ad]]
