MILFORD - Fines at the Milford Public Library must be paid off as they are incurred.

Checkout of material will not be permitted if a patron has a fine(s) on their card.

This week's dial-a-story will change Wednesday to "The Miller, His Son, and the Donkey." Call 574-658-9540 to hear the story.

Are you looking for a special gift for that special teacher for National Teacher Day on May 8? Why not adopt a book at the Milford Public Library in his/her honor? The library will send a postcard to the teacher with the book title and how to find it in the library. Come to the Children's Department to see the library's selection and find out more details.

The 100th birthday of the Milford Public Library is just around the corner. A committee has been formed to plan events for the 100th birthday. The next meeting is tonight at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room.

There will be a meeting Thursday at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room to set plans for the library's long-term goals. Anyone interested is asked to attend this meeting.

Milford Public Library will have Family Movie Day May 7 at 2 p.m. in the library meeting room. This is an early release day for Wawasee Community Schools.

Scrapbooking club with Mim will meet May 7 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. Bring your scrapbooking supplies and pictures and come have some fun at the library.

The Milford Public Library will close at 4 p.m. May 8 for a staff in-service. The library will open May 9 at 10 a.m.[[In-content Ad]]
