PIERCETON - Pauline Sibert, 79, of Pierceton, died at 4:07 p.m. April 1, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Warsaw, to William R. and Hazel Elder Robinson. On Sept. 30, 1949, in Columbia City, she married Russel G. Sibert, who preceded her in death.

A lifetime resident of Pierceton and Warsaw, she retired from Sun Metal, Warsaw, and also worked for Kmart. She was a Pony Express Rider.

Surviving are two sons, Curtis (and spouse Sharon) Sibert, Claypool, and Patrick (and spouse Lilly) Sibert, North Webster; two brothers, Richard (and spouse Jean) Phillips, Syracuse, and Wayne (and spouse Judy) Phillips, Pierceton; a sister, Wanda (and spouse Allen) Anders, Pierceton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Pastor Ron Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
