Paul M. Tobin, of Warsaw, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died July 29, 2007.

He was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Waukegan, Ill. He enjoyed 43 years of marriage to Mary Louise O'Grady, who survives.

He was a graduate of Marquette University. Retiring from Johnson & Johnson after 34 years, his career included numerous positions in Chicago, New Jersey and lastly Indiana where he was Director of Logistics with DePuy. His other business accomplishments included being president of Shez, the official soccer uniform supplier and replica licensee for the NASL and MISL. From there he and Marilou founded Official Sports Internation, which has grown to serve the entire referee community at every level in the United States and abroad. He most currently lived in Warsaw, with a home also in downtown Chicago. He was also a long time resident of Skillman, N.J.

Also surviving are his devoted children Paul G. (and wife Christine) Tobin, Mrs. R. J. (Julie) Gerard and Mrs. Paul (Lynn) Mullaney; his cherished grandchildren, Paul R., Amanda, Emily, Natalie, Maxwell, Jackson, Katherine, Evelyn and Lauren; dear brothers Edward (and wife Diane), Gerald (and wife Patricia), Phillip (and wife Sandra) and Raymond (and wife Junko) Tobin.; many dear nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Cathedral, Superior and State streets, Chicago, Ill. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Calling is from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, with Anthony and Daniel Morizzo funeral directors, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at Holy Name Cathedral.
