GOSHEN - Paul D. Van Scoik, 75, of 3208 N. CR 150E, Warsaw, died at 6:20 a.m. April 22, 2007, in his residence.

He was born Nov. 13, 1931, in Rochester, to Berlin and Fay Hiatt Van Scoik. On Dec. 11, 1948, in Edwardsburg, Mich., he married Betty Jean Barth, who survives.

Moving to Warsaw from Edwardsburg in 1998, he was a member of First Church of God, North Webster, and a 50-year member of Iron Horseman Motorcycle Club. He owned and operated Bee-Line Travel Trailers Inc., Road King Travel Trailers, Work King Lawn Tractors, Danny Boy Travel Trailers and Paul's Auto Sales, Elkhart, for 20 years, retiring in 1992.

Also surviving are two sons, Bud and David Van Scoik, both of Leesburg; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Teeter, Union, Mich.; Mrs. Ed (Delores) Pekar, Houston, Texas; and Mrs. Rick (Carol) Blumenberg, Bridgeman, Mich.; and two brothers, Marvin Van Scoik, Three Rivers, Mich., and Bob Van Scoik, Rocky Mount, N.C.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
