Patsy Jane Weirick, 68, of 3698 N. Oakwood Drive, Warsaw, died at 3:40 p.m. Jan. 11, 2009, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born July 27, 1940, in Warsaw, to Victor and Mary Brown Freeman. On May 13, 1962, in Warsaw, she married James L. Weirick, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she formerly owned Pat's Beauty Shop on West Winona Avenue and retired from USDA Civil Service in 1989. She was a former member of Moose Auxiliary. She was a 1958 Warsaw High School graduate.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jodi (and spouse Thad) Thompson, Noblesville; two sisters, Nancy Danusis, North Webster, and Barbara Ringer, Indianapolis; and two granddaughters, Channing and Lachlyn Thompson, both of Noblesville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Eric Gale officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
