SYRACUSE – Patrick Orbik, 76, of Leesburg, passed away Nov. 2, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Herman and Katherine Cody Polser. On Oct. 4, 1958, she married Carl Orbik, who died in 1993.

She retired from GM in 1993, when she moved to the area full time. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Anderson, for many years. She was a member of North Webster American Legion 253 Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Katherine Reum, Syracuse; four sons: James (and spouse Janet) Orbik, Syracuse; Richard Orbik, Richmond; Carl Orbik, Anderson; and Andrew (and spouse Kim) Orbik, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Schilkoski, Bloomington, Ill., and Linda Crum, Decatur, Ill.; and her companion, Don Buennagel.

A memorial service will be at noon Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Catholic Street, Pierceton, officiated by Father Dale Bauman of the church.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
