Pastor James B. Marshall, 90, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, died at noon May 7, 2010, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

He was born May 28, 1919, in Polk, Pa., to Mary Boal and Samuel Marshall. On July 7, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, he married Margaret Louise Moore, who survives in Winona Lake.

He was a member of Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, and was a minister and missionary for many years for the Grace Brethren Church. He was a World War II veteran serving from 1942-1946 with the U.S. Army. He resided in Milford since 1993, and then moved to Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, in 2001.

Also surviving are four sons: Michael (and spouse Lani) Marshall, Milford; Peter (and spouse Sandra) Marshall, Minburn, Iowa; David (and spouse Michelle) Marshall, Winona Lake; and J. Andrew (and spouse Georgia) Marshall, Noblesville; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, in the Grace Village Chapel, with Chaplain Bob Divine and Pastor Andy Marshall officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Highland, Ohio.

No visitation is planned.
