Passenger Rail Presentation Rescheduled

The public presentation on passenger train service for Warsaw originally scheduled for Tuesday at the Kosciusko County Democratic Headquarters has been rescheduled for a different date.
The Northeast Indiana Passenger Rail Association will be making a presentation to the Warsaw City Council on Oct. 8. The council meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held in the Warsaw City Hall Council Chamber. Parking will be available in the City Hall lot adjacent to the building as well as street parking.
The presentation will include a brief history of the project and discussion on its feasibility.
Funding also will be discussed including a request by the rail association for local support of a preliminary planning study. The community is invited to attend this presentation.
