Participants Needed For Twinkle Light Parade; Fest Of Trees Starts Monday

The Christmas-themed parade will begin at 6 p.m. and start at the intersection of Columbia and Center streets.
The parade will continue down Center Street to Indiana Street and to Central Park.
The route also will go down Buffalo Street and Main Street and back to Columbia Street.
“Participants are encouraged to decorate floats, bikes or vehicles or can walk in the parade,” Paula Bowman, First Friday event organizer, said.
People who want to be in the parade can contact Bowman at 574-376-0233 or obtain an application on the Warsaw Community Development Corp. website at warsawcdc.org
The Festival of Trees kicks off Monday and runs through Dec. 9. There are 20 trees that will be located in downtown Warsaw businesses.
The majority of the trees are available for silent auction, and the other trees will be available for a People’s Choice vote at $1 per vote.
Funds received will be donated to Beaman Home and Habitat For Humanity.
