SYRACUSE - Sophomore parents, do you want to lower the cost of your child's senior year?

It is a fact that the cost of graduation and prom has been on the rise. To assist in lowering these costs for the class of 2011, Wawasee High School has organized a Nelson's Golden Glow Chicken Barbeque Fundraiser for May 1 from 4 to 7 p.m.

To be successful, parents are needed. The first step is to sell the tickets. Students will receive tickets to sell through Wednesday. Parents are needed to work the event.

Items needed for donation are: coolers, aluminum foil and paper towel. These items may be donated between Wednesday and April 29 by dropping the items off at the Wawasee High School main office or by having sophomore students give items to their homeroom teachers.

Coolers will be borrowed and returned (place your name on the cooler) and can be dropped off at the WHS main office by April 29.

Pre-event tickets will be on sale for $5. At-the-door tickets will be sold for $5.50.[[In-content Ad]]Parents interested in assisting at the event may contact the sophomore class sponsor, Mariah Roberts at [email protected] or 574-457-3147.
