Tracy Michele Paczkowski and Christopher Joseph Vineis were married June 16, 2007, at St. Patrick's Church, Watertown, Mass., with Father Steve Madden officiating. The bride's parents are Rick and Jo Paczkowski, Warsaw; the groom is the son of Rose Bishop, Syosset, N.Y., and Randy and Janet Vineis, Port Washington, N.Y.

Matron of honor was Kimberly Hutt, sister of the bride, Fort Wayne. Bridesmaids were Lisa Valadez, Fishers; Sarah Bryan, Valparaiso; and Elizabeth Vineis, Auburndale, N.Y.

Best man was James Piangozza, Bethpage, N.Y. Groomsmen were Felix Kuo, San Francisco, Calif.; Ramu Venkatachalam, Monmouth Junction, N.J.; and Matt Lehmann, Dunwoody, Ga.

A reception was held at The Exchange Conference Center, Boston, Mass.

The bride is the manager of public affairs at Biogen Idec, Cambridge, Mass. She is a 1996 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She graduated from Butler University, Indianapolis, with a bachelor's degree in public and corporate communications in 2000.

The groom is a member of the technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, working on thermoelectric materials, Lexington, Mass. He is a 1992 graduate of Syosset High School, Syosset, N.Y. He earned a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and a PhD in materials science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001.

After a wedding trip where the couple toured Rome, Florence and Venice, Italy, the couple resides in Watertown, Mass.[[In-content Ad]]

Tiger Basketball Opens Season With Win Over Columbia City
On a night where the Warsaw football team was honored before the game, another Tiger team with high expectations going into the season made its 2024 debut. The Warsaw boys basketball team tipped the season off at the Tiger Den against Columbia City, and after battling for the better part of the game, the home side pulled away in the final minutes to win the opener 62-53.
