Dallas and Patricia Owens marked their 40th wedding anniversary May 27. Dallas Owens and Patricia Newingham were married May 27, 1967, at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church by the Rev. Albert Whitaker.

He is retired, and she owns Pat's Day-Care.

The couple have five children: Mrs. Charlie (Missy) Holbrook, Jody (and wife Terry) Owens; Dewayne (and wife Holly) Owens; Mrs. John (Julie) Jeffries; and Mrs. Jared (Joni) Brumfield. They have 10 grandchildren.
