Out Of Afghanistan

Could someone tell me why we are still in Afghanistan?
Did not the old Soviets try to run the Taliban out for several years then finally gave up and got out?
Now that we burned their Quran and enraged them for starters we have a soldier that simply sounds like he lost it and went on a killing spree. Obama and his secretary of defense sit back and say now is not the time to leave – that we still can achieve our goals.
What exactly are our goals in a country that simply hates every thing about us here in the west? It’s very apparent the Taliban are still there and will be there long after we are gone.
I listened to a talk radio show the other day and they were reading from the Quran, pretty much of what I gathered is if you do not believe their way, you are an infidel and should be put to death.
Don’t sound like much of a non-violent religion to me. We need to bring our troops home and let them lunatics over there be. They will seek revenge over there and here both, so having troops over there is not going to solve anything, but we will see more attacks on our troops.
Makes me wonder what old Obama and the cronies are up to again. Is anybody missing the price of Bush gas yet? I think it was around $1.80-$1.85 a gallon when he left office. One thing’s for sure, I agree with the letter that Pastor Patrick wrote a few weeks ago. If the USA doesn’t turn her face back to God for direction, we are sliding down the hill for sure.
We need to bring our troops home from these fanatic countries and worry about what is going on here for a change. Have a nice day and may God bless our troops and our country.
