Otho Wilbur Hoagland, 84, of Warsaw, died at 10:15 a.m. April 24, 2007, in his residence.

He was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to George and Annie Stafford Hoagland. On Sept. 21, 1963, he married Alice Aileen Compton, who died Jan. 4, 1996.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he was a polisher at Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, retiring in 1985, after 21 years. He was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a past member of Sidney Grace Brethren Church and a 1941 Pierceton High School graduate.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Grace) Houvener, Winona Lake; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Dr. Brent Sandy officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
