Othel “Lee” Walls, 75, of Pierceton, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Nov. 20, 2012, in Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.
He was born July 29, 1937, in Oneida, Tenn., to John Perry and Lula Spradlin Walls. On June 14, 1970, in Wooster, he married Becky L. Mock, who survives in Pierceton.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was a quality control supervisor at Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, retiring in 1992. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association, a member of Warsaw Elks Lodge  802 and Eagles Aerie 3760, Syracuse. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the lakes, birds, trees and being outdoors. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame Football … “Go Irish”.
He will be lovingly remembered by a son, Christopher Lee Walls, Pierceton; stepson, Elmer V. Jr. (and spouse Brenda) Foster, New Carlisle; two daughters, Jana (and spouse Tim) Knight, South Bend, and Jolene Meehan, Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Natasha and Aaron Knight and Ryan Meehan; a step-grandchild, Seth Foster; two sisters, Irene (and spouse  Norman) Clay, Warsaw, and Alice (and spouse Luke) Lockwood, Pierceton; two brothers, Lawrence (and spouse Susie) Walls, Chico, Calif., and Douglas (and spouse Nancy) Walls, Pierceton; and his stepfather,  John King, Port Charlotte, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Johanna Forsey, who died in 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Barry Faucett. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
