Ken Oswald, Indianapolis, and Jill Pearson, Syracuse, announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Oswald, Syracuse, to Matt Adams, Milford. He is the son of Vickie Adams and the late Rick Adams.

The bride-to-be is a customer service representative at Lake City Bank, Warsaw. She graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 2003.

The groom-elect is a full-time student at IPFW, studying elementary education and is a substitute teacher for Whitko Community Schools. He graduated from Whitko High School, South Whitley, in 2000. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, serving in the U.S Army from 2001-10.

The couple plan a Sept. 29, 2012, wedding.
