She was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Laotto, to Ralph Doud and Margaret Freeman Lochner. On Sept. 3, 1954, in Muncie, she married Dohn F. Wiley, who survives.
She was a 1944 graduate of Churubusco High School. She was a member of Silver Lake Wesleyan Church and attended Wabash Church of the Nazarene. She worked at Kroger’s, Wabash, for 30 years, retiring in 1989. She lived in the LaFontaine area 30 years, in rural Silver Lake from 1985-2004 and in Wabash from 2004-present.
Also surviving are two children, Linda (and spouse Dean) Pickett, St. Joseph, Mich., and Dohn D. (and spouse Cheryl) Wiley, Wabash; two stepdaughters, Margaret (and spouse Dan) Smith, Union City, and Sharon (and spouse Lloyd) Hopkins, Dunkirk; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; and a sister, Edna Lochner, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, with Pastor Kirk Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
