By Staff Report-

AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley School Corp.’s online student registration/data validation system is open for the upcoming school year.
The system is a secure and green process, which allows the district to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for each child prior to the start of the new school year, according to a press release from TVSC.
The system also allows parents/guardians to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies, link to free and reduced lunch applications and provide online payment options for school textbook and lunch fees. The online process replaces all the hard copy student registration and permission forms and allows the completion of the registration process from home.
For returning families, when it is time to fill out the online form, be sure to use the information provided by the school, including instructions on how to access the system for each student.  Parents/guardians should have received a link/instructions and a secure “snapcode” that links directly to each student’s information. The account created is used each year for this process, with a form submitted for each student in the family.  Anyone in need of this information may contact the school office.
For new families enrolling their children for the first time at Tippecanoe Valley School Corp., there is a link on the corporation website (www.tvsc.k12.in.us) directing the parent/guardian to the online enrollment process. Here, the parent/guardian will create an account to submit a form for each student being enrolled.
The option will be available to copy all generic family information to all other students in the family if more than one child is being enrolled. Students wanting to enroll who live outside of the TVSC district must also complete and submit a Non-Resident Transfer Application. This application can be downloaded from the corporation website at www.tippecanoevalleyschools.com/enrollment
Online registration for the 2015-2016 school year should be completed as soon as possible, the release states. Families without Internet access may contact their child’s school to make an appointment to use a school computer to complete the online registration process. Computer labs at each school will be open July 28 and July 30. Other times will be available by appointment.[[In-content Ad]]
