Online Face Cream Scams

Dear Ladies, like any other woman around my age we start seeing wrinkles on our face and want to try that magic face cream that will either stop the wrinkles, or at least minimize them. We fall for every new face cream that promises wrinkle-removing results.
There is an ad on the Internet right now that states, “an ordinary housewife discovers the secret to getting rid of face wrinkles, by combining two different face creams.” I won’t say the name of them, but I will say they both start with the letter “k”.
Beware! They are advertised as a 14-day free trial offer, but what they don’t tell you, until you have already ordered the free trial and given them your credit card information, is you will have an ongoing charge on your credit card for more jars of cream every so often, and if you call them and cancel, they tell you you have to send back the free jars of cream or they will be charged on your credit card. So much for free!
So now I have called both “K” cream businesses and canceled my so-called orders, which I didn’t even do in the first place, I only asked for the free trial offer, and I now have to send the creams back and pay the shipping and handling to two different companies to get out of this mess.
Don’t be a fool and fall for such an ad as I did.
I am not saying creams are not good for our faces, but there is no such thing as a “magic wrinkle cream” and businesses are making a fortune off of vain women like me! We need to learn how to grow old gracefully!
