Onita Jean McSurley, 84, passed away at 6:10 a.m. March 21, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 3, 1928, in Dwale, Ky., to Jack and Emma Ellis Osborne. On Jan. 21, 1946, in Prestonsburg, Ky., she married Lonie McSurley, who died Aug. 4, 1992.
Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she was a packer at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary McSurley, Warsaw, and Katherine (and spouse Jerry) Ziegler, Columbia City; two sisters, Pat Wallace, Fort Wayne, and Rebecca Goble, Warsaw; a brother, William T. Osborne, Cochran, Ga.; two grandchildren, Mark (and spouse Becky) Ziegler, Cory, and Kimberly Ziegler, Winona Lake; four great-grandchildren, MacKenzie G. Ziegler, Indianapolis, and Emily, Anna and Nathan Ziegler, all at home. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and infant brother Osborne.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Chad Burkhart of Victory Christian Center, Warsaw, and Pastor Rick Stewart of Palestine Bible Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
