One-Track Mind

Editor, Times-Union:

It amazes me that some of the writers to the Times-Union can't help but keep harping on the prior administration and Iraq. No matter how many times they are proven wrong, it's like a broken record. I guess it's a one-track mind sort of thing.

I again ask that good reading for the folks who want our nation to remain a free country with a government "For the people and by the people" read "Common Sense" and "The American Crisis" by Thomas Paine. Also read our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Amendments.

Liberals can turn the truth every which way, but it comes right back to the basics this nation was founded on.

No to bigger government. No to more bail outs. No to Washingtons' trillions budget. No to socialized medicine. No to government sticking their noses into private industry and business. No to higher taxes. No to socialism.

Yes to fighting this war on terror. Yes to our second amendment. Yes to freedom of religion. Yes to our constitution remaining as it has for the last 200-plus years. Yes to freedom and happiness. That's America and that's the reality we want.

Join a "Tea Party" on April 15th. The United States can be strong again - sometimes the feet and the pen are the only means some of us have to fight for our God - truth - and this nation. And may God help us as we face the next four years.
