Onda L. "Okie" Baker, 63, of 206 W. Tulip St., Pierceton, died at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 31, 2007 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Aug. 24, 1944, in Prestonburg, Ky., to Robert and Bureda Clark Stephens. On Jan. 2, 1963, in Pierceton, she married Bill Baker Jr., who preceded her in death May 15, 1994.

She was a former employee of Tenneceo Automotive, Ligonier and Gatke Corp., Warsaw. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Pierceton.

Surviving are two daughters, Sherri Jarrell and Rhonda Baker, Pierceton; one son, Gordon Baker, PIerceton; two brothers, Ray Stephens, Sidney and Ronnie Stephens, Warsaw; two half-brothers, Joe Stephens, Pierceton and Robert Stephens Jr., Warsaw; four step-brothers, Dean Adkins and Don Adkins, Pierceton, Danny Adkins, Warsaw and Gary Adkins, Milford; one sister, Cookie Bryant, Warsaw; five half-sisters, Debbie Thompson, North Webster, Rita Elder, Warsaw; Lena Ball, Burket, Tina Huffer, Warsaw and Belva Stephens, Pierceton; one step-siter Faye Campbell, Warsaw,a step-mother, Lexie Stephens, Pierceton; six grandchildren, Scott Jarrell, Columbia City, Ryan Jarrell, Pierceton, Tony Yagel, Pierceton, Jill Yagel, Pierceton, Meghan Stacy, Pierceton, Olivia Stacy, Pierceton and a special cousin Amma Moody, Louisville, Ky.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, Warsaw with Pastor Ron Konkle officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
