He was born May 9, 1923, in Nappanee, to Floyd and Anna Moore Anglin. On Sept. 12, 1945, in Nappanee, he married Ethel Mae Gould, who survives.
He lived most of his life in Nappanee, moving to Florida in 2007. He was a 1940 Etna Green High School graduate; attended the University of Findlay, Ohio, for two years; and received a graduate certificate from American Institute of Banking. In 1985, he retired from NBD Bank, Nappanee, after 30 years in banking. He was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church and Gideons and a former member of Nappanee Jaycees and Lions and Rotary clubs.
Also surviving are a son, Lanny (and spouse Kathy) Anglin, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Judy (and spouse Robert) Douglas, Sarasota, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lowell Anglin, Nappanee.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel with Pastor Marvin Engbrecht officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bob Douglas. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
Calling is from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
