Nash Klinefelter (L), of Mrs. Brown's Faithful Frogs preschool class at First Presbyterian Church in Warsaw, gets a ride from Ed Mitschelen of Warsaw, in Mitschelen's replica of an 1891 Lambert. The Lambert was the first car built in the United States, in Ohio City, Ohio. The replica was built from scratch based on plans Mitschelen found in Engine Engineers. It is powered by a 16-horsepower, two-cycle engine. Photo by David A. Beall, Times-Union[[In-content Ad]]
