This is to address the people who want to support Doug Ogle, and say they can't figure out what he's done wrong.

Well, let's just name a few of his most famous ones.

The Plumlees, possibly the greatest basketball family Warsaw has ever seen. Or, I guess didn't see. I shudder at their experience.

There is the Irwin family who has an eighth-grade point guard who may be the best I have ever seen. Well, the abuse they tookfrom Ogle is on record. Check into it if you need more.

The entire senior class did not want to play for Doug. I know I wanted to see the Vandewater kid play, but they transferred from Warsaw. I really wanted to see Ben Higgins play. All these great families and great people left or decided not to play.

And there's lots and lots more. Ask around, like I did. And there's more to come in the future. Lots more. Don't think the school board hasn't heard these horror stories. The head coach at Warsaw is on a one-year contract. Following Warsaw basketball since '64, I can tell you Ogle's six-year run is the worst Warsaw six-year performance in 45 years.

I used to be pro-Ogle, but, I have since switched. Doug came over to my house and wanted money. I gave him $100. Each year for four years he came for a hundred. After four years of this, I said that's enough. Well, since then I got kicked off the team, too. My boy was in his camp two years ago. Since then no flyers for two years. As we are putting our boy in numerous basketball and golf camps, my wife said she wants him in Warsaw's camp. He cooly told her he would send a flyer. It never came.

I applaud the Ogleites for their recruiting supporters, but many of the people who were there and some who spoke have told me they were against Ogle. The peer pressure was enormous. The Ogleites know no one wants to speak negatively in a public forum. And the few of us who did were treated with disdain. The Ogleites say Dave Fulkerson doesn't like Doug. How can you not get along with Dave? He loves everybody. Give him credit, he saw Doug's shortcomings before the rest of us.

I don't hate people for their opinion of Doug, I hope they don't me. I will put it on record, I'm concerned about this for my kid, who is crazy about basketball; and if Ogle stays, and my innocent boy is put in a bad light by any Ogleites, there will be big-time trouble. My boy dreams of playing for Warsaw. Unfortunately, I have to protect him from his nightmares, too.
