Ivan and Janet Oberlin, Winona Lake, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 6, 2008. Ivan Oberlin and Janet M. Wolfrum were married Sept. 6, 1958, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, with the Rev. Henry A. Blanke.

He retired from United Telephone in 1996, and she is a homemaker.

The couple have three children: Greg (and spouse Teresa) Oberlin and Julie (and spouse Tim) Patten, all of Warsaw, and Brad Oberlin, Etna Green. The couple have two grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a family dinner and a family trip at a later date.
