Joshua and Lisa, my phone number is in the book, you can find my address on the county GIS site, if you care to continue this, call me or come on out. I'm not angry and I don't hate you. However, I also am not going to engage in a running gun battle with you in the paper. That part was for you, Mr. Editor, wink wink.

Joshua, you are ranting, settle down and re-read what I wrote. I said we weren't going where you think we are and not where Obama says he will take us. To get to where you think we are going, you'll have to bring back the manufacturing jobs from China, that's not going to happen. Obama can't do that and he doesn't intend to. We aren't going where Obama says we are because he can't do it. He, George, Bill, George 1st, none of them could do anything but make suggestions. We are where we are because this is where congress has taken us. We are where we are because Global Government is the goal, not the rebirth of the U.S. working class.

Also, Joshua, you can't flog me with George's problems. I'm not one of George's fans. George is far too liberal to suit me. So, get a grip, and make some serious plans on how you will avoid and teach your children to avoid living the the third world economy that is planned for most of the U.S. Oh, and it's the top 11 percent of wealth holders that will be OK, the top 1 percent are just the most fortunate.

Lisa, I set you up and you responded nicely, mind you. I didn't know who would respond, just hoped that someone would that could focus on the one issue and you did. It's obvious that you are intelligent and have a good command of the language. That is what makes it a mystery to me that you can't see the evidence before you. What exactly more than the racist statements Obama has made about his grandmother and the white working class of this country is needed?

If he wants to toss grandma under the bus, I can over look that and did, but his comments about guns and faith was personally insulting to me and most likely to half of this country. If a white politician had said anything half as insulting about blacks, he would no longer be in the race. We have precedents for handling these sort of incidents, when someone says something stupid and insulting to an entire class of people. We watched Mel Gibson and Don Imus go through it.

Why isn't Obama being held to the same standard? Because he's black? Because he gets to decide if he's insulted someone rather than the person he's insulted? Doesn't work that way for the white men, why does it for him? What you are doing is endorsing a double standard that has been complained about for years privately, now Obama has proven for all to see that this double standard exists. He not only insulted half of the white people in this country, he stood by it, refused to apologize and when he finally did say something similar to an apology, he was sorry we were offended, not that he had said it or that he believes it, which proves he knows nothing about me.

I will warn you. If we allow double standards, everyone will apply them as they see fit, not as you will want, not as Obama will want. There will never be a united country. People that constantly scream "celebrate diversity," can't then run around saying, "unite." The very concept is absurd, unity comes from commonalities, celebrating diversity creates division. You are getting the society you want, you are getting the society that the policies and practices you support will create.
