Editor, Times-Union: I would like for an Obama backer to please explain to me why it is that if you do not support or agree with Obama that you hate him? I do not hate the man but disagree with some if not all of his policies. I just read that the national debt now has exceeded the 15 trillion mark and he still blames it all on Bush. Totally refuses to admit that any of his policies are wrong. The deficit is projected to hit more than 16.5 trillion, more than 17 trillion in 2013 and more than 25 trillion in 2022. I would imagine that we as taxpayers would be out a shade more than 140,000 per year to pay it back and I guess I'm low on that one. I really don't have that kind of cash laying around do you? Obama has came out and said now that he supports gay marriage. I would advise him to pick up a Bible, and it very clearly states the definition of marriage. I also read in the paper that abortions have fallen 5 percent in the state in 2010 and we are supposed to be all happy about that? Seems if we had some politicians in office that would try to instill some morals back into the country and do away with abortion and the gay marriage thing. We really wouldn't have much use for a supreme court, would we? I am glad to see that the House panel did pass a measure to repeal the medical device tax, which I do believe would have hurt Warsaw's orthopedic industry bad. Which would have resulted in layoffs ,which one company has already sold out to scab labor anyhow. Don't understand how Obama backers can rail against the right to work for less bill but support a president that tries to pass a law that could cost your job. In all honesty I don't know if either side can fix the mess the country is in. I would suggest that this country pray for itself and our leaders. But no, I do not hate Obama, just disagree with the path he has us on. You all have a nice day, even all you Obama lovers. Lonnie Slone Warsaw, via e-mail[[In-content Ad]]
