Oakwood Fine Arts Festival Returns Sept. 6

SYRACUSE – Chautauqua Wawasee presents the return of its premiere, juried outdoor festival on Sept. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Oakwood Resort, 702 E. Lake View Road, Syracuse.
Admission is free, and there will be fun for the entire family.
Don”t miss:
• Award-winning, jury-selected fine artists and fine crafters.
• The Children’s Art Experience, sponsored by Kosciusko County Community Foundation, offering children’s art projects, live animals, face painting and more.
• Food vendors.
• Free entertainment and demonstrations.
The schedule is:
9:30 a.m. – Lakeside Fitness presents Zumba.
10:30 a.m. – Lakeside Fitness presents yoga.
11:30 a.m. – Lee Anne Stewart Dance Team performance.
12:30 p.m. – Kevin Piekarski Jazz duet with Dave Latchaw.
2:00 p.m. – Middle Eastern belly dance with Melanie Wade.
2:30 p.m. – Deb Colliers School of Dance performance.
Also, don’t miss Oakwood Resort and Chautauqua-Wawasee’s 2nd Annual “OAK”toberfest on Oct. 11.
This German festival will feature children’s activities, German food, live music, a beer tent and more. Mark your calendars and go “prost” with them.
