PUBLIC NOTICE
    Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., on behalf of the City of Nappanee is submitting a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of the City’s intent to comply with the requirements of 327 IAC 15-5 to discharge storm water from construction activities associated with the City’s planned extension of public water supply and sanitary sewer service to the Nappanee Municipal Airport.
    Construction is planned along or near U.S. Highway 6 from Berlin Court Ditch to Airport Drive.  Runoff from the project site will discharge to Berlin Court Ditch and Darkwood – Haverstick Ditch.  Questions or comments regarding this project should be directed to Steven Bender of Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., 7256 Company Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46237, Telephone #317-888-1177.
