NorthWood Rips Northridge

MIDDLEBURY - With a 33-6 win over Northern Lakes Conference rival Northridge, NorthWood moved its overall season record to 5-1 and 3-1 in the NLC. The loss sets the Raiders back to 0-6 and 0-4.

Senior quarterback Charlie Roeder rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead the Panther offensive attack. Roeder put NorthWood on the board in the second quarter with a 49-yard trot. In all, NorthWood scored 27 points in the second quarter of play.

The Panther offense tallied 443 yards of total offense, while the defense allowed the Raiders a dismal 168 yards of total offense.

NorthWood will be at Dowagiac (MI) on Friday.
