NOTICE OF DETERMINATION TO CONSTRUCT
ADDITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
NORTH WEBSTER SEWAGE WORKS
AND THE ADOPTION AND PURPORT OF THE
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SAME
    Property owners, ratepayers and other interested parties in or served, or to be served by the sewage works of the Town of North Webster are hereby notified that on September 15, 2015, the Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2015-09-15, as amended by Ordinance No. 2015-11-17 adopted on November 17, 2015 (collectively, "Ordinance"), thereby determining to construct the additions and improvements to the Town’s sewage works consisting of: improvements at the wastewater treatment plant, collection system improvements, lift station improvements and replacement of several existing lift stations, all in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Triad Engineering, Inc., consulting engineers of Indianapolis, Indiana.
    The maximum estimated cost of the project is $4,099,000. The Ordinance further directed that the cost of the project be financed by the issuance of revenue bonds, in one or more series, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $3,445,000, which bonds will be payable solely from the net revenues of the sewage works of the Town.  The bonds will be sold at a private sale to the Indiana Finance Authority at an interest rate not to exceed 6% per annum and will mature semiannually on January 1 and July 1 over a period ending no later than twenty (20) years after substantial completion of the project.  Copies of the plans, specifications, cost estimates and the Ordinance are on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer and are available for inspection by any interested parties during regular business hours.  Objections to the project and the bonds may be filed in the time and manner provided by the Indiana Code, Title 36, Article 9, Chapter 23.
