By Staff Report-

NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Community Center will host its first Kids Business Fair Feb. 8.
This event is for students from around the county who are in grades K-8 to come and sell things that they have made or a service they are offering.
There will be a cash prize in each age group for highest business potential, best presentation and most original idea.
The community center is  encouraging these young business people to secure an investor, give a portion of their profits to a local charity and do some research about starting a small business.
The judges will be professionals from around the county who share the experience of starting their own business. There will be a $1 admission fee for shoppers as well as a space rental fee for the young entrepreneurs.
Applications and more information will be available soon at NWCC or at www.nwcommunitycenter.org
The center also is having a Kids Clay Club beginning Oct. 12 to Nov. 2. The cost is $30 per child. Each week the student will work on a piece of art that will be ready to take home at the end of the session.
Follow the center on Facebook or check out the website.
The center on Sept. 28 is  offering Kid Escape. This program is an abduction prevention class to help children know what to do. This is different than taking a martial arts class.
It is $5 per child and is from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Parents are encouraged to attend so they can continue to review with their child at home.[[In-content Ad]]
