MILFORD - Norman S. Lovell, 77, of Milford, died Aug. 16, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born May 21, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Kenneth and Ruth Specht Lovell. On Sept. 9, 1956, he married Lucille "Lou" Theberge, who survives.

He moved to Goshen from Concord, Mass., in 1959, and to Milford in 1963. He was former co-owner of Milford Party Pack, retiring in 2000. He also worked at Maple Leaf Farms from 1969-83. He was a member of Kosciusko Masonic Lodge F&AM 418, Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne; and Mizpah Shrine, Fort Wayne; and a lifetime member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Korea from 1952-56. He served on the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission.

Also surviving are two brothers, Gordon Lovell, Waterford, Maine, and Kenneth Lovell, Lehigh Acres, Fla.

Services will be private.

Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
