Norma Jean Kinney, 77, of Warsaw, died at 3:25 p.m. March 16, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born May 6, 1934, in Plymouth, to Roy and Mae McVey Zimmer. On Aug. 8, 1954, in Bremen, she married G. Richard Kinney.

She lived most of her life in Warsaw, and was a secretary for Ramsey News, Warsaw, for 30 years and retired in 1985. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, enjoyed reading and gardening, traveling the United States and Europe, and going on cruises.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (and spouse Terri) Kinney, Glenn Ellyn, Ill., and Keith (and spouse Sheila) Kinney, Indianapolis; a brother, Richard (and spouse Mary) Zimmer, Mooresville; six grandchildren: Margaret Kinney, Erin (and spouse Gary) Long, Elliott, Emily, Rachel, and Christian Kinney; and a great-grandson, Aubrey Long.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor David Hummel, Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Calling is from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
