SYRACUSE - Norma J. Personette, 80, of Syracuse, died at 4:10 a.m. May 5, 2007, in Goshen General Hospital.

She was born May 27, 1926, in Syracuse, to Forest E. "Bud" and Mary L. Garrison Ringler. On June 29, 1953, in Syracuse, she married Fred Personette, who died April 6, 1993.

Living most of her life in Syracuse, she lived in Archbold, Ohio, for three years. She attended Milford Public Schools and was a member of Wawasee Heights Baptist Church, Syracuse, since 1962. In 1973, she retired as a quality controller at Beatrice Foods (formerly G&W Pizza, Syracuse), Archbold. She had also been a waitress at several local restaurants over the years.

Surviving are three daughters: Kandy Dominique, Mrs. Michael (Sandy) McRobbie and Mrs. Kirk (Sally) Beck, all of Archbold; two sons, Garry Ringler, Syracuse, and Ricky Brennan Sr., Clearwater, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Kenneth (Donna) Stewart, Fort Meyers, Fla.; Mrs. Loren (Wanda) Neibert, Irmo, S.C.; and Mrs. Don (Joan) Neer, New Paris.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor John French and the Rev. Dana Neer officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
