Ed and Donna Nordstrom, married Sept. 18, 1960, at Martha/Mary Chapel at Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Sundbury, Mass., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a hot-air balloon ride over southern Michigan.

The ride was a gift from their children: Susan (and spouse Vincent) Guest, Readsboro, Vt.; Steven Nordstrom, Dorchester, Mass.; and Matthew (and spouse Elizabeth) Nordstrom, Portland, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

He was an electrical contractor for much of his working career and she was a registered nurse, retiring in 1998.[[In-content Ad]]
