Nona Jolene McFarren, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10 p.m. June 2, 2012, in Life Care Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born June 13, 1932, in Whitley County, to Guy and Maria Abraham Overmyer. On Jan. 21, 1951, in Winona Lake, she married Ralph McFarren, who preceded her in death.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County residing in Warsaw, she worked for Kosciusko County Abstract and Bodkin Abstract, retiring after 52 years of service.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the United Methodist Women’s Association. She enjoyed being a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and enjoyed her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Nona Hoffhien and Zella Betz, both of Warsaw, and Rona Price, Tell City; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Dave Hummel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
