NAPPANEE - Noah T. Borkholder, 68, of 8427 W. CR 1050N, Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 9:07 a.m. Dec. 4, 2010, in the emergency room at Goshen General Hospital.

He was born Dec. 2, 1942, in Bremen, to Tobias A. and Anna Bontrager Borkholder. On Dec. 8, 1966, in Marshall County, he married Susie Carolyn Miller, who died Oct. 29, 2010.

A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and worked part time at ADM, Nappanee. He was a member of Bishop of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are a son, Jacob (and spouse Bertha) Borkholder, Nappanee; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers: Mahlon (and spouse Marilyn) Borkholder and Tobias Jr. (and spouse Martha) Borkholder, Nappanee; Simon (and spouse Esther) Borkholder, Brighten, Iowa; and Levi (and spouse Katie) Borkholder, Bremen; and two sisters, Viola Borkholder and Lena (and spouse Daniel) Miller, all of Nappanee. He was preceded in death by twin sons, a daughter and a grandson.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jacob Borkholder residence with Home Ministry officiating. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.

Calling is all day today and Tuesday at the Jacob Borkholder residence.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of arrangements.
