Police have no suspects in a stabbing incident early Sunday in which the victim and his friends reportedly refused to cooperate with authorities.

Carlos Ibarra, 18, of North Parker Street, Warsaw, was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released. He suffered a stab wound to the back, just below the shoulder blade.

Ibarra reportedly told police that he was at a mobile home park, possibly Shamrock Trailer Court in Warsaw, when the incident occurred. However, Ibarra and his friends refused to go with police to identify the location of the trailer and nobody claimed to have seen the assailant.

About 10 people were reportedly outside the trailer when the incident occurred about 2 a.m.

Ibarra told police he was outside when he realized something bad was about to happen and, when he turned to go inside the residence, he was stabbed. Ibarra told hospital officials that he suffered the wound when he fell on some broken glass, then later admitted he was stabbed.

The investigation remains ongoing at the Warsaw Police Department. [[In-content Ad]]
