Warsaw Fire Department was dispatched to 1832 Hepler Drive around 4:48 a.m. today in response to a blaze at the home of Chris Kelly.
Kelly and a friend at the home noticed an odor coming from the utility room of the house and found the fire. After several attempts to put out the blaze, the two left the home. Neither were injured.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined, said Warsaw Fire Department Chief of Investigation Mike Wilson.
There were reports of explosions at the scene. Wilson said those were from aerosol paint cans, which he said should be securely stored in a garage.
It took crews about 30 minutes to control the blaze.
Wilson estimated the damage of the fire to be $65,000.
