Nineteen Retire from Warsaw CSC

Together, they have taught a total of 627 years, with 578 of those years with Warsaw Schools, according to information provided by the WCS central administration office.
Linda Burch is retiring from Edgewood Middle School. With a total of 26 years, 24 of those were with Warsaw.
Shirlee Clevenger taught all 28 of her years at Warsaw Community High School.
The teacher with the most years was Marsha Cook. She taught for 45 years, with all but one of those years at Leesburg Elementary School.
Ellen Earhart is retiring from WCHS with 29 years, and 25 of those with Warsaw.
Jefferson Elementary School’s Linda Flenar taught 37 years, all with Warsaw.
Beverly Graham taught all 31 of her years with Warsaw. She is retiring from Lakeview Middle School.
Also from Leesburg retiring is Jan Hammaker. She had 35 years of experience, all with Warsaw Community Schools.
Janis Knoop and Sandy Kunce both are retiring from Eisenhower Elementary. Knoop taught 28 years, with 27 of those with Warsaw. Kunce taught 26 years, with 21 of those at Warsaw.
Retiring from Harrison Elementary is Janet Lantz after 24 years of teaching. Twenty-three of those years were for WCS.
Corinne Pickens is retiring from Lakeview Middle School with 36 years of teaching under her belt. Thirty of those were with WCS.
Having accumulated 37 years of teaching, all with Warsaw Schools, Carol Plew is retiring from WCHS.
Principal Randy Polston is retiring from Harrison Elementary School. He has taught or been a principal for 34 total years, all with Warsaw Schools.
Of his 35 years of teaching, 22 years of Steve Savage’s career were with Warsaw. He is retiring from WCHS.
Pam Shipley is retiring from Jefferson. She has taught 29 years, with 28 of them for WCS.
Washington Elementary School will miss Sharon Sucec. She has taught 35 years, and 28 of those with WCS.
Mary Thorndike, Harrison Elementary, taught for 33 years. Thirty of those were with Warsaw Schools.
Sally Welborn taught at Warsaw Schools for 35 years. Retiring from Madison Elementary, she has taught for a total of 39 years.
Also with 39 years, all for Warsaw Community Schools, Terry Winteregg is retiring from Eisenhower Elementary School.
Seven members of WCS’s support staff also are retiring this year. Their number of years with Warsaw ranges from 12 to 35.
In food service, those retiring include June Aleman, 13 years; Carol DeVaul, 12 years; Arvada Spangle, 32 years; Joan Spangle, 35 years; and Shirley Swartz, 27 years.
At Eisenhower, Barb Smith is retiring after 34 years, and Diana Stull is retiring from Lakeview with 16 years.[[In-content Ad]]
