MENTONE – Today from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. is walk-in registration for the Awana Bible Club which begins Sept. 14 and continues through the school year at First Baptist Church, 206 S. Oak, Mentone, for kindergarten through sixth grade. 

Youth group for grades 7 through 12 meets Wednesdays during the school year from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  Supper is provided.

The church is sponsoring a 13-week class from Dave Ramsey, “Financial Peace University”.

The first class session is Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is free to come and see what it’s all about.
