Nelson Attends Hoosier Girls State

Rebekah A. Nelson, a senior at Warsaw Community High School, had the opportunity to attend Hoosier Girls State in June.

This was a chance for her to learn many aspects of state government and to build friendships to last a lifetime.

Indiana State University opens its campus to the American Legion Auxiliary to enrich the futures of these young women.

Nelson was appointed as the delegate for Mentone Indiana Unit 425 District 2. She is a junior member in the American Legion Auxiliary and plans to attend a college in Indiana next fall.

The week was life changing for her and she expressed her gratitude to all that helped her achieve this honored position.[[In-content Ad]]
