Nellie D. Conley, 70, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Etna Green, died at 4:34 a.m. Oct. 14, 2009, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Jan. 19, 1939, in Etna Green, to Robert and Dessel Bach Long. On June 15, 1957, she married Herman E. Conley, who survives.

She was a resident of Etna Green until 1989, when she moved to Tucson, where she worked in the deli department at Fry's Supermarket for 15 years.

Also surviving are three daughters: Colleen (and spouse Mark) Mast, Nappanee; Melanie Stenstrom, Etna Green; and Becky (and spouse Don) Milliser, Plymouth; two sons, Jim (and spouse Becky) Conley, Etna Green, and Patrick (and spouse Martha) Conley, Plymouth; a sister, Patty (and spouse Tom) Pulliam, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and 15 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Etna Green Church of Christ, with Pastor Jordan Ickes officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
