NAPPANEE CITY PLAN COMMISSION
    The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this hearing is to hear the following rezoning request filed by the owners Michael D. and Joann Robinson, 1204 E. Walnut Street, Nappanee, Indiana. The said property is located 1204 E.
Walnut Street Nappanee, Indiana.
Petition presented is to:
    Change the zoning from B-1 (Limited Business District) to R-2 (Medium Density Residential District) with respect to the following described real estate, to wit:

Legal Description of Property
    A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of Section Thirty-One (31), township Thirty-five (35) North, Range Five (5) East, in the City of Nappanee, Indiana more particularly described as follows:
    Commencing at an iron stake at the northwesterly corner of Miriam Avenue and Walnut Street, said point being North Zero (0) degrees nineteen (19) minutes East, a distance of Three hundred eighty-seven and seventy-five hundredths (387.75) feet (measured along the westerly line of said Miriam Avenue) from the south line of said Quarter Section and North Eighty-nine (89) degrees fifty-seven (57) minutes East a distance of seventy-one (71) feet (measured along the northerly line of said Walnut Street) from an iron stake found on the west line of the East Half (E1/2) of said Quarter Section; thence south eighty-nine (89) degrees fifty-seven (57) minutes West, along the northerly line of said Walnut Street, a distance of One Hundred Eighty-three (183) feet to the place of beginning of this description; thence continuing South  Eighty-nine (89) degrees fifty-seven (57) minutes West, along the northerly line of said Walnut Street, a distance of eighty-eight (88) feet to an iron stake marking the southeast corner of the recorded plat of Hamsher’s Second Addition; thence North (0) degrees five (05) minutes West along the easterly line of said recorded plat and along the westerly line of land owned by Kenneth and Miriam Stump, a distance of ninety-three (93) feet; thence North Eighty-nine (89)  degrees fifty-seven (57) minutes East, parallel with the northerly line of said Walnut Street a distance of eighty-eight (88) feet; thence South zero (0) degrees five (05) minutes East, a distance of ninety–three (93) feet to the place of beginning.
    A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
    All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
