NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS
AFFECTED OF ADOPTION AND CONTENT OF RESOLUTION OF THE
NAPPANEE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION
    Taxpayers of the Nappanee Redevelopment District ("District"), and all other persons affected hereby, are notified that the Nappanee Redevelopment Commission ("Commission") adopted an amending declaratory resolution on October 24, 2006 ("Amending Declaratory Resolution"), consolidating, expanding and creating the Nappanee Consolidated TIF District ("Consolidated Area") and the Downtown Allocation Area located in the Consolidated Area, and the Amending Declaratory Resolution was confirmed by an amending confirmatory resolution adopted on January 9, 2007 (collectively, "Area Resolution").  On April 28, 2015, the Commission adopted its 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution ("2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution"), amending the Area Resolution to:  (i) add to the acquisition list certain properties as shown on Exhibit A to the 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution (“Properties”); and (ii) include the projects described on Exhibit B to the 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution in the list of projects in the Consolidated Plan for the Consolidated Area.  The 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution, the Consolidated Plan, as amended, and supporting data, including maps and plats describing the Consolidated Area and the Properties, have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Department of Redevelopment, Nappanee Center, 302 West Market Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
    Notice is further given that the Commission on June 23, 2015, at the hour of 7:00 a.m., local time, at the Nappanee Center, 302 West Market Street, Nappanee, Indiana, will receive and hear remonstrances from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution, the Properties and the projects to be included in the Consolidated Plan and determine the public utility and benefit of such actions.  At the time fixed for hearing or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance with the Secretary of the Commission in the Department of Redevelopment.  At such hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrances that have been filed.  After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the 2015 Amending Declaratory Resolution.
